Denton County Friends of the Family provides compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention.

Giving Hope is providing rental and utility assistance as available for the month of April.

Grace Like Rain is working to provide a variety of needs, specifically for families. Some of these services include food and—as available—rental assistance. 

Interfaith Ministries, (940) 566-5927

IFM lends a hand to assist your family through a crisis due to sudden unemployment, unexpected medical expenses, or other issues. IFM will be closed to walk-ins and in-person appointments. Those needing assistance should contact IFM by telephone 940-565-5479, Line 3 or fill out a screening form online at www.ifmdenton.org.
 

Our Daily Bread, (940) 566-1308

Our Daily Bread is a community soup kitchen that serves a free, nutritious lunch Monday through Saturday to the hungry and homeless in Denton County and surrounding areas. 
 

The Salvation Army Denton Shelter, (940) 566-3800

The Salvation Army Denton addresses the needs of individuals experiencing homeless and/or food insecurity and working poor in Denton County.

United Way COVID-19 Relief Fund (940) 566-5851

The COVID-19 Relief Fund (CRF) is made possible by contributions from municipalities, corporations, individuals, and United Way of Denton County. Application for financial assistance from the CRF is for households at-risk of homelessness due to income or job loss related to COVID-19. Applications must be submitted by an organization on behalf of the household. Individuals may NOT directly apply.
